Upcoming and continuing classes--
Crayon Box Jacket workshop begins Tuesday July 21 at 5:30 pm.
My First Sweater (or second, or third) Beginning Tuesday, September 14th --5:30 and Saturday, September 18th --9:00 (two times available): Every knitter hopes to graduate from scarves to sweaters, but most of us are intimidated by the patterns. We will use the book Seven Things that Can "Make or Break" a Sweater, which takes us step by step through the steps in a basic cardigan. The completed project is a baby cardigan, a perfect shower gift! The class is free with purchase of materials, and the book is strongly recommended.
Yes, I really want to make socks! Beginning Monday, Sept. 14--10:30 and Thursday, Sept. 17--3:30 (two times available) Basic principles of sock-knitting. Must know how to knit and purl. We will make traditional top-down socks on double pointed needles. Our project will be a pair of slipper socks made with worsted or DK weight yarn.
Ribbon of Hope Breast Cancer Awareness Lace Scarf Wed., Sept. 9th --10:30-noon (possibly an afternoon session too!) A beginner lace class, but also a beautiful project knit-along if you already have lace experience.
Thursdays 1-3 pm. Fair Isle and Intarsia "support group"--we don't know enough to call it a workshop! We are learning together!
Or just come knit and enjoy the company at any of these times!
